Our Day At Emma Bridgewater

Emma Bridgewater factory in stoke is only a 25 minute drive for us and was somewhere i'd always wanted to go.I love her pottery and wasn't disappointed with the factory either. We got there for 3pm (make sure you book first!) And got seated around a table the room is lovely with a cafe and polka dot bunting hanging from the ceiling. The children each chose a plate to decorate and we were given a demo to show us how to do it. There were so many colours and shaped sponges to choose from.Emily did her plate very grown up and "cool" with reds and blacks and london bus's.Charlie chose a football theme. Sophies plate was decorated like a garden. Max's plate was cute with dinosaurs in different colours and williams was made with spaceman, rockets and planets. Can't wait to see them when they've been fired.Should be about 10 days when I can pick them up.Although they will post them out to you.
Before we left we had to have a look around the factory shop and came home with a beautiful heart jug for my kitchen window and richard brought my mum a lovely mug. We've decided to go back at easter when they are having little chicks delivered. Thank you to everyone at emma bridgewater we know we have a big loud family and were made to feel welcome.
